Beavers, Cardinals Set for Big Week |

The Yorkton Cardinals picked a terrible time to lose 10 consecutive games. Their next three, though, will prove to be the most important games of the season.
After Sunday afternoon’s 8-2 loss to the Swift Current Indians, the Cardinals now sit one game back of the Weyburn Beavers for the final playoff spot in the WMBL East Division.
However, with their next three games coming head-to-head with Weyburn, the Redbirds can still hold out hope.
Yorkton (11-23) has eight games remaining on the regular season schedule, with Weyburn (13-23) are down to only six.
